This shoe is not comfortable and caused a raw spot on the back of my ankle. Stay clear.
I have many shoes from Sperry and love them all but this is not up to their standards.

I have to return this shoe based upon the fit. Looks really nice, but I found the shoe to be incredibly uncomfortable. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 10 instead of my normal 11, but it didn't help. Way too narrow in the middle, a lot of space in the toe and a weird pocket behind my heal. Guess I'll stick with the mocs and boat shoes.

Only trouble i have is that I wore out the first pair after a long life of hard use. Second pair has been great, but I cannot find a matching replacement lace in the lighter tan color- any help out there??

I'm in the same boat - I wish I could get matching laces. I've had to stick to contrasting laces because I couldnt find anything to match

I am a size 10 in every brand of footwear I purchase. However neither an 8 1/2, 9, 9 1/2, or 10 fit my foot properly. In every size there was an uncomfortable pocket of room at the back of the ankle, which led to painful chaffing with each step as the ankle lifting slightly up from the heel and rubbed against the back of the inside. The smallest size I tried (8 1/2) was crushing my foot (in every way but length), which I could just barely squeeze in, and yet still there was that obnoxious ankle room.
Also, there are two styles of this shoe. One is I believe to be the older version, which lacks the golden flag emblem on the bottom of the shoe's sole. These were of markedly less quality than the ones which came without the emblem (the latter have a richer, darker suede and an overall build that felt extremely well crafted and durable, while the former seemed like a shoddy knock-off, with a pale, faded suede and craftsmanship that more resembled a cheap assembly-line product).
Beautiful shoes if you're fortunate enough to get the right kind in your size, but they are simply impractical (at least on my feet, which to my knowledge are of perfectly normal proportions).

These shoes are clearly built to extend past your foot, but even still, order a size small. I bought a 10.5 (my normal size), returned for a 9.5 which fits comfortably-- and even still the end of the shoe extends another inch past my foot (but the inside is built to prevent your foot from taking up that space, so that you can look like you have bigger feet.)
These shoes would be nicer if they fit sensibly, as is, I'd still recommend at the current half off price. At full price, you can probably do better.
