Savior Boots

PostedSeptember 10, 2012
It was February, it was sleeting, I was in NYC for a long weekend of shopping and was wearing leather-soled loafers and puddle long-jumping my way from Tribeca to Midtown. Not glamorous. I finally stopped at a shoe store and bought these wonderful boots in black, which allowed me to march into the slushy streets without a care in the world. I traversed miles in these boots and my feet stayed warm and dry for the entire journey. These boots are wonderful. Promise. And all the shopboys and girls in Soho thought they were super cute, too.

So cute, but bad quality

PostedFebruary 16, 2012
I bought these in black. They are about half size too small. They are so cute and the shaft is warm, but water gets through the rubber sole. I wore them in drizzling weather and the sole of the shoe still somehow managed to get damp, which made my toes freezing. Again, still cute, but you can't wear them in the weather they were made for.
