Well designed & high quality worth the price

I was searching for a coat made in the U.S. and found it here! It's well worth it to pay more for garments made in the U.S.A. The fit is slightly smaller than I thought but I'm keeping it since it's still comfortable, though not ideal - the shoulders could be wider. Not a great fan of the wool - it has 20% nylon content, and I would like it (and have paid more) if it were 100% wool. All the detailing of the stitches around the pockets and inner lining are lovely. The wool performs well in cold weather and I was never cold wearing this! A caveat of this wool is that it's also too scratchy to lie against skin, so the collar is irritating. One must wear a scarf, unless you have very thick skin and don't mind the prickliness! I may just sew in soft flannel lining for that collar. The deep inner pocket is a bonus - a girl can never have too many pockets.
