Love the look of the boots but...

I have a wide foot and the boots are comfortable enough. However I also have a high instep, unfortunately they are a little tight and after awhile my feet go to sleep. I wore a thin sock w/them and didn't notice the first time I wore them. The second time I had them on for several hours and had to remove them because my toes were going to sleep. So if you have a high instep you might want to reconsider.

Cute boots, bad quality

I love the look and feel of these boots. The black ones look like riding boots, I get a lot of compliments on them, and they're pretty comfortable for walking in. However, I feel like the quality of these is really poor. I bought a pair in the fall and the rubber started to come apart at the seam on the bottom. I was told this was a defect and was sent another pair for free. However, the new pair has the exact same problem in a slightly different place! Because the rubber is coming apart water can get in and get my feet wet :( It's very disappointing. I love Sperry, but I really feel like I wasted my money on these boots. If you live in a wet climate then I would suggesting paying a little more to get higher quality boots that won't do this!

Most rainboots are really wide on my feet. These fit perfectly! Not too sung, but I don't feel like they will fall off while I'm walking! I love them!!!

Flimsy around the ankles

This is the second pair of Sperry Rain Boots that I have owned. The first pair didn't last an entire year. The rubber cracked around the ankles leaving the boots susceptible to water.
So thinking that it was just a bad pair, I purchased these online to replace my first pair. After wearing them about 6 times, I can see that these too will crack around the ankles. The soles are heavy and clunky. But the rubber on the ankles is flimsy and thin. The boot shaft slouches and twist with each step. I'm sure they will crack within the year. So disappointed in this brand.

While I absolutely adore Sperry's boat shoes, rain boots are not their thing. About 2 months in, mine also developed holes to which I sent them back and had them replaced. Wouldn't you know it, the replacement pair also took only about 3 wears to get holes. The quality is absolutely awful. If you want to buy Sperry, stick with the boat shoes.

I got the quilted ones about a year ago and both boots already have multiple rips in them. The rubber has ripped along the seams where the quilting design is, and some of the rips are very large. I am very disappointed that these are already ruined because I rarely wore them and didn't expect them to rip after paying so much money. My replacement rain boots are NOT going to be Sperrys.

I was excited when I first received these boots in black - they were cute and fit okay. However, after only a very few times of wear, the rubber came apart and the shoe is pretty much useless. My feet get wet every time I wear them now because of the rips in the outer rubber, and I need to go spend money to get them repaired because it is such a waste to throw them out. A friend of mine who also has these experienced the same problem. DO NOT PURCHASE THEM.

I normally wear a size 7 1/2 but because they are whole sizes I ordered an 8 and it fits perfect! They are one of the most comfortable boots I have ever put on. I can get a thick or thin sock on and it's still comfortable, even barefoot! Unbelievable! Love, Love, Love Them!

Super cute boots, received so many compliments. However, I've had these boots less than 2 MONTHS, and they are already coming apart. I wear these boots Monday - Friday on my walk to/from work whenever it rains, clearly not overly excessive use, and they are already falling apart. The leg of the boot is coming unattached from the lining in several places on both boots, clearly making it very difficult to get anywhere dry in the rain. These are the first pairs of Sperry's I have ever purchased, and I am completely disappointed that the quality did not live up to the price tag. Will not be purchasing another pair of Sperrys any time soon.

I have really small feet, and have been looking for really cute rain boots that are true to size and fit right. I love these, they are comfortable and don't give me blisters...which is what other rain boots have done. The fact that these are amazingly comfortable and don't give me blisters is such an important factor for me. I really love these boots and I would wear them with shorts.

My boots were a gift for Christmas 2011 making them 1 year old and they leak. They are coming apart at the seam of where the top print joins the bottom sold color. So disappointed. I have a pair of Esprit boots that have lasted over 10 years (just faded) and they are of such better quality. Would not recommend these to anyone. A $29 dollar pair of boots can last years opposed to $80 boots for 1 year.

Breaks after a year

I bought these last year and brought them abroad to deal with London weather. Over the last few days I have noticed them deteriorate. ALL of the seems ripped and became gaping holes . I was stuck with boots that let in snow in multiple locations leaving my feet cold and wet. These boots appear nice but they are terrible quality. They are not worth the money they are asking. You might as well get Hunters that actually will last.

I go to Virginia Tech, and anybody who knows anything about Blacksburg weather knows that a good pair of rainboots are needed.
I got a pair of these (the color I got is not available anymore) and they were warm. The length was perfect for my 5'2 petite frame, and they did what they were made to do: keep my feet dry.
However, within a half a year's use I noticed that the boots were tearing at the sides where your foot bends the most.

These boots are cute and I like them. They were a little taller than what I thought they were going to be. Very disappointed however that I saw these boots $20 cheaper at a retail store a week later!
