Little tight should have read reviews first and ordered one size larger. Bought black and brown pairs at same time but I would have liked a merlot color instead of brown.

I have a pair of gold cup boat shoes that are size 10M, so I ordered these in a size 10M. I could not get the shoe on my foot. Sperry needs to recalibrate the size scale for this model.
By the way, I had to pay for return shipping. When the size is so far off the shipping should be free.

Was visiting New York with my wife and had just stopped into Sperry to brouse around a bit. I was shocked to find a pair shoes that were exceptionally comfortable especially after having major surgery last year. Being a musician I needed a pair of basic shoes that could take long hours of standing and the Capetown Penny Loafers past the test in spades. I would also like to give high marks to D. the sales person who spent more than enough time with my us and high marks to the staff who mailed the shoes on that day, Monday and the shoes beat us home Wednesday, wow!

I have 5 pairs of Gold Cups and this one is sized much smaller than the others. Could it be that this is the only pair I have that was made in Indonesia. I took it back and exchanged it for a style that was made in China. This pair fits great. By the way, what happened to Sperrys that were made in the US.

Sperry's have always had a quality about them that I've enjoyed. This driver is very comfortable and adequate as it relates to the look of the outer leather. The leather is more cordovan than brown to my eye. The last version of the "driver" Gold Cup felt like a better quality leather outside, "pebbled" grain versus the "smooth" grain of this shoe. However, this shoe is very comfortable on the inside which is great for a casual driver. All in all I would still recommend. A near miss...

I am a size 14.5 but when you get into the the teens, half sizes go away. I bought these in a 14 and they fit perfectly. They are insanely comfortable. They look great. Buy 'em. I don't normally even like to wear brown shoes. For these, I made an exception.

I have 3 pair of Gold Cup boat shoes. I bought these on the assumption that size would remain the same. Very disappointed. Much more narrow in the toe than the boat shoes. Uncomfortable to the point that I cannot wear the shoe.
I really do not have the time or inclination to return the shoes.

It is hard to tell from the picture but the toe is squared off on this shoe. I'm very happy with the comfort and fit. Removable insole is very soft.
