This is my third pair!!! Not because they've warn out (actually I have two black and one tan), they're just so fantastic and I'm afraid Sperry will take them out of production. Everyone has commented on how great they are, they were even turning heads in Paris!
The zipper makes them so easy to get on and off, and the laces can be adjusted to accomodate different calf sizes.

These boots came in the mail today. I'm completely satisfied with how they look, SO cute. They are like fashionable combat boots, but for wet weather! It's rare to find rainboots this stylish.
However, I will say that you should order half a size up.
I typically wear a 8.5, sometimes 8, and decided to get an 8.5 because I have a narrow foot and thought 9 might be too big...I probably should have gone with the 9. They fit length-wise, but were REALLY tight on the top of my foot, which is weird because I have a narrow and flat foot. I ended up having to take the inserts out of them to fix this. They are still surprisingly comfy! I may buy some thinner inserts, but as of now I'm happy.

The last thing -- these are a little snug on the calves, but with the ties all the way up the front of the boot, all you have to do is loosen the laces and they should fit most people. I have pretty muscular dancer/running calves, couldn't zip them up more than halfway at first with the way the default tightness of the laces but once I loosened the laces in front a bit it's like they were made for me! They look great.
Overall, I'm satisfied.

After trying 10 pairs of rain type boots these were the winner. If you have a slim calf and narrower foot these are for you. They run a little short. Typically I wear an 8.5 but needed the 9. I have a 13 inch calf and these fit great since you can adjust the lacing. They are great looking and made well.

I had the hardest time getting these boots on because my foot would not go down into the boot. When I finally did get my foot inside the boot, I couldn't zip the boot all the way up because the shaft of the boot was too narrow. My calf muscle is not big at all. So, I was very disappointed that the boot would not zip up. Needless to say, I will be sending them back. Hurts my feelings though because these boots are so darn cute.

..but honestly, I was expected better quality from Sperry. I was planning to return them but ordered something to replace them and liked them even less.. My biggest problem with them is that the straps up top are way too loose and the way that they were sewn on to an elastic band was poorly done -- I will be fixing this myself. Super comfy though. Also, skinny calf is definitely true!

I've been looking for a rainboot that is slimming in the calves, and this boot fits the bill. I'm a size 9 and as you go up in size, unfortunately the calf width tends to get larger. It's pretty narrow so if you typically fit in a 15inch circumference, this won't fit you. However, if you have issues finding narrow boots in the calves this is the one. I would say that it's even a bit snug on me, but wearable. I plan on wearing it with skirts.

If you have a high-instep, do not order this boot. The effort to get it on was not worth the hassle. Once I got it on, it actually fit, Maybe if the zipper could extend lower, it could work. Too bad, since it is a cute boot. I had to return mine.

Great looking boot! Great fit in ankles and calves. Can adjust to fit with tights or over jeans! I tried over 50 other boots that were all much too wide in ankle and calf with my 9 1/2 size foot. My search is over!

I instantly fell in love with these when I saw them online and when they went on sale I had to get them. I got them in black and I love how they can go with everything! They are great quality and comfort which I always expect from Sperry. The only bad thing I can say about them is that they do run small. I ordered them a half size up and the are still about a half size too small. So I'd say order a whole size larger than why you normally get or more. Otherwise, I love them!

As soon as I opened the box, I could tell this was a great quality pair of boots. Fleece lined, these boots will keep you warm and dry. It has a fantastic look too! The fit is true to size with a little wiggle room for thicker socks. And because you can adjust the laces and buckling, it's great for smaller calves (with or without jeans!).

These boots are just what I expected them to be, perfectly comfortable! I bought an 8.5 and it fits me perfectly. I thought at first that thick winter socks would make it tight, but then again, I don't think you'll need one since the lining inside is warm & comfortable enough for winter. Can't wait for winter!

I loved these boots , and I do not have a heavy calf , but althought the foot fit well , the calf was waaay too narrow even over just opaque tights . The boots are good looking and well made, but sadly , I had to return them because of this . I didn't want to be loosening the laces and trying to make them work . Even if the leg of the boot was made with another half inch of circumference it would have been fine. If this is corrected , and the boot is re issued , I would certainly re order them .

I just love these boots. They look great and are very warm. We didn't have much of a winter this year, but will look forward to wearing these warm boots next winter. They were a bit narrow in the calf area, but with some adjusting of the buckles and laces, they fit just right.

I got the black boots and am very happy with them. It's true they are small in the calf, but I have fairly thin calves, so I'm thrilled I finally have a boot that fits perfectly. The style is great and I've already worn them in the rain, keeping warm and dry. They're probably not the best for extreme weather, but for typical rain and snow they will be my go-to.

Love these. I have thin calves but you can tell that they are narrow. They fit me great and are so stylish! You have to weat them with skinny jeans and pants so you can see them! I can fit skinny jeans in. They are very warm so make sure the weather is cooler than 60 if you wear long socks with them.

I love the way the boot looks. If you aren't really looking for a functional winter boot, I think it is great. The soles will keep your feet dry, but the boot shaft won't. If you were to wear these in a bad rainstrom or in the snow for any more than the walk to and from your car/subway youy socks will get wet. I don't get how y ou can make waterproof boots with the laces and tongue not being connected. PLUS the boot is VERY narrow and hard to zip up. I don;t have a big calf at all and these were very hard to zip with just socks on. Forget about wearing them over jeans. I'm returning mine the day they arrived.

These boots are very snug and warm, and they're so cute I planned to wear them a lot (not only when it rains#. However, they are REALLY TIGHT #from calves to toes), and by midday, I can't wait to take them off as it feels as though I have a tournequet on.

I love these boots. I'm hoping it rains every day so I can wear them. My only complaint is that the shaft is too narrow. My calves are by no means large, and I even ordered 1/2 size up, but the shaft is tight. I unlaced them to make it looser, but then it looks sloppy, so now I just struggle zipping them up. It doesn't hurt when wearing them, it's just a struggle to put them on. Other than that, they are comfy and so warm. I've gotten so many compliments on them already.

I bought these boots and as like you I am in love! I never thought I would find a fashionable pair of winter boots to wear in the snow. I am so glad I found these. You are right, you do have to loosen all the laces "a lot" and then they can be zipped up easily. Once you zip the boot then tighten the laces to fit accordingly so it doesn't gap. I don't have skinny calves either. I didn't believe the slaesperson that they were going to fit my calves, but once he loosened the laces it zipped up very easily. Then I just tightentend the laces to fit my leg. I cannot wait to wear them!
