I first tried this shoe on last Thanksgiving, but the store didnt have it in my size. I had been searching for it online and found that Sperry's was having a 25% online sale. Took advantage of it and got these shoes. I wish I bought 3 more pairs. They are the most comfortable shoe i have worn. love the lines and the clean simple style. Recommend this shoe 10 times over.

There isn't really a loconic matter to put my words down but this shoe truly met my high standards. This shoe was such a comfertable fit and stylish allowing me to get smuthered with compliments from friends, family, and also total strangers. I reccomend this shoe in knowing you'll enjoy it as much as i do.

Fits a half size small like all sperries do. They look good. Leather material on the outside is thinner and more flimsy than i expected and there isn't much support around the ankle. Because of this soft leather it makes them extremely comfortable, almost slipper-like. Every time i wear them i get a lot of compliments and would recommend them to anybody looking for something different than just an original boat shoe

Shoes were not a true size 12. Purchased for a friend and purchased online because of sale. When received and on his feet they looked like "clown shoes." They had to have been 2 sizes too big. Not sure if the shoe was mismarked or if they are suppose to make your foot look like a clown? Will I continue to purchase from Sperry....of course. Still an excellent product.

Bought these as a walking shoe for a recent trip to London. Worked great -- very comfortable.
My only complaint about this style is that the back of the shoe is absolutely limp. I wish Sperry had used a double thick layer of material for the back panel. The single layer allows for a slight sag just above the heel. I have a pseudo-crease that essentially outlines the top of the rubber insole (which is dope).

These have literally become a pair of my favorite and most comfortable shoes. As a busy school principal/chief academic officer, I stay on my feet over 11 hours a day—in style. I get compliments on these shoes, more so than the Cole Hann or more expensive brands that I oftentimes wear.

I want to love these shoes so badly, but they just won't last. They are super comfortable and very good looking, but the sole is wearing away after just two or three days of use. Its not like I am pounding the pavement in these either. All I did was wear them twice, for normal use, and the heel is already wearing down very noticeably. So if you want a cool pair of shoes that you can wear once or twice, then these are for you. But if you want something that will last, I would not suggest these shoes.

Canvas model boat oxford - - a soft canvas upper and classic boat shoe footbed/sole. These look great with a pair of jeans/khakis, but I also wear them with shorts and an oxford for a dressier look. Your girlfriend/wife will appreciate you rolling out in these instead of flip-flops for a cool summer date night.

Can dress up or dress down, wear with chinos, jeans or even shorts. This is one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I live in the city and walk everywhere. With the addition of the blue canvas pair I just ordered, I now have them in three colors.

Only gripe - the color of the shoe in the picture is not quite accurate, The "burnished" shoe did not look so burnished or distressed. Brown color was more uniformly light brown. Otherwise very comfortable and excellent for casual work day.

Light weight and very cozy shoe! The leather laces are not easy to use, but it adds to the shoe... Other than this shoe I am in a brand called 'native' bravo with this lightweight comfortable shoe!

I bought this like 6 months ago. I ordered size 8, but it fits me like size 9. Due to it's comfort and style, I decided to buy another pair with a smaller size. Today when I visited a local mall, I found this shoe in size 8. And they fitted me just like size 8. Perhaps Sperry realized the question and solve it. I'm not sure how the size would be if I order agagin online. I will try the size 8 one more time.
The things I don't like is the bottom part which feels cheap and can't last long. They are almost sponge, so take good care of that. Also the shoe tie, it has a little blue color in it, I prefer a pure white one with better quality.

-I highly recommend these. They look great in shorts, jeans and pants. I get compliments on them all the time.
-They fit true to Sperry's sizes. I've always worn the same size so I ordered these offline, and perfect fit.
-Only word of caution, the sole of these shoes are almost sponge like... might not last as long with pronounced over pronators or supinators, but make them extremely comfortable. As far as the back of the heel feeling like cardboard... Not sure where that's coming from, I don't feel it. Only trouble I'm having is finding canvas cleaner for when my kids step on them. Hope this helps!

I bought the leather version of this shoe, and once I got it I was pretty impressed with how it looked. When I put it on, I also liked how it felt; but as soon as I started walking around with them, I started getting scratches. Any little bump or rub against this shoe that would be completely ignored against another shoe leaves a mark, however, the shoe still looks great. It gives it a well worn look.

I get so many compliments on these!! They look amazing but the best part is how comfortable they are. The cushioned insole not only improves my posture but makes it feel like I am walking on pillows.

OK, you always wear a boat shoe. Get grief on it when your supposed to do better? Not feeling the Allen Edmond's (doesn't really work with the seersucker?), this is it. Love this shoe. If it gets roughed up, I'll get another pair. Seriously. Indispensable.
