I bought these as a change of pace from the multiple pair of Sperry boat shoes I have. These are very comfortable and I have a borderline Med - Wide foot. I normally wear a 9.5M in the boat shoes and I fit in the 9M of this one. Just an FYI for anyone out there looking.

The narrow styling of this shoe means even "normal" width feet might be cramped. Sperry, please add a size "W" to your line up.

Color much paler that in online photo. Leather scuffs easily and as such discolors readily.
Also, shoe only comes in one width and the design is such that it narrows at the tow and is uncomfortable.
Normally my purchases from Sperry have been excellent, this is an exception to that

I love this shoe, it's comfy and cool looking. However, initially I was going to return them and continue the comfortable shoe hunt. I read the reviews and decided to try to break them in, and after about a few days of wearing around the house they are broken in and are my go to for days when I have to go to the office.
I plan on getting a few different colors ;)
Great shoe, break them in patiently and enjoy!!

These look fantastic! I'm still breaking them in, but the first few days they rubbed a blister into my left heel. Once my feet adjust, they will be perfect. I'm really glad I bought them and would do so again.

Great Birthday Present for my Husband

I got these shoes for my husband's 30th birthday because I couldn't stand his white shoes/khaki shorts combinations any longer. They look amazing and he says they fit incredibly well. As an added bonus, he has a bad back and he says they are very comfortable. He has no problem standing or walking for long periods of time.

I'm slowly breaking it in and it's becoming less of a problem, but my first day wearing it was just downright painful due to the narrow width. It's a great shoe don't get me wrong, but if your feet run on the wider side of life, this shoe will be uncomfortable for a good week.

OK, I've noticed it helps to understand a bit about the reviewer of any product, to get a better sense of who is reviewing. So, I am 19 years old, a college student, 6'5", 215#, and wear size 13 in shoes. Now, on to the good stuff.
I've never really been into the whole khaki and loafer scene, until the Summer of '12. Since then, I've tried many different styles, including shoes, to see what is comfortable and what I can stand wearing 9-10 hours throughout the day. After trying on these shoes, I have to be honest: these are the best shoes I've ever worn in my life. They are extremely comfortable, versatile (wear with anything: khakis, dress pants, jeans, shorts, etc), bold yet not overwhelming, and they look really nice. I spend 9-10 hours a day in classes, so I wanted to find a shoe that feels very comfortable yet still looks good. Well, these are the most comfortable shoe I've worn to date, and I've gotten countless compliments for them.
I understand the issue with the heel of the shoe digging into the Achilles tendon, but trust me, its not as bad as it sounds, and it goes away after several days of use, as the shoe is broken into and loosen up a bit. Regardless, that is enough a compromise to make in exchange for such great shoes.
So, all in all, I highly recommend them, as I am on to my second set (Classic Brown Leather, and Sahara Leather) and looking to purchase my third. Best shoes I've ever worn!

Love these shoes. They look great with just about any pants, dark jeans, darker khakis, whatever. Socks, no socks, doesn't matter. They look great. Pop on a button up shirt, a brown blazer, jeans, and the shoes top off a casual, yet sophisticated grown-up and stylish look.

Fantastic every-day work shoe

I've worn out three pairs of driving loafers over the past two years (two pairs of Ralph Lauren loafers and one pair of Kenneth Cole shoes). They're all I wear because they're comfortable, they look nice and they're easy to slip on. These Navigator Venetian shoes are no exception on any of those counts, but the difference is they're SO MUCH sturdier. It's obvious that they'll last longer, the leather will wear better and they won't quickly lose their form (or support).
I understand what past posters have said about the back of the shoe digging into your Achilles tendon. While that's true at first (not as painful as it sounds, I promise), the shoe becomes more flexible after a couple days. After wearing it in, that problem goes away completely.
I HIGHLY recommend these.

I purchased a pair about a year ago and have worn them to work, and casually. That is what i like about these shoes, they are sharp enough for a business casual professional office, and dress up a pair of jeans for dates, work functions, and more. When i where them i usually pair them with navy pants and a matching tan belt. Overall, i am very happy with them as i get tons of compliments.

I'm a big fan of the slip on shoes and the last pair I owned wore out so I was in need of a new pair. I went to my local retail store to try on some shoes and none of them were as comfortable as these shoes. Not only are they still comfortable they still look good. The color hasn't worn out and the quality of the shoe is great. Firm believer in the Sperry.

Quality construction, excellent feel, great materials, and the sole of the shoe is just fantastic. Unfortunately, the back of the shoe digs into my achilles tendon when I walk, so much so that even when wearing a sock it is extraordinarily uncomfortable. Perhaps this is something that will subside once the shoe has been broken in. And I should note this is not a problem I've had with a Sperry shoe before.

I recently had the same problem with my pair (oddly enough only on the left foot). The back of the shoe dug into my tendon and walking any distance was very uncomfortable and even painful. What I did was insert simple heel pads (Dr. Schols and the like). The problem went away. Give it a try. It's become my favorite shoe. It feels a bit like wearing a cushy pair of slippers, yet they are dressy enough that I wear them to work (at times even with a suit).

I have worn this shoe every single day for a little more than a year and they are not only very comfortable but have held up with little or no care given to them.
Having sold higher end shoes all through my high school and college years, I do not believe I ever known a product to hold up so extremely well with no care given as these shoes have.
I loved them so much I am order another pair and will keep the old pair for around the house and weekend kick-a-bouts

We bought this shoe for our 82 year old father to replace a similar styled pair from a different company. They fit right out of the box, and he loves them more than the others. They look good, better than the others really, and are clearly better quality.
