I own about 5 pairs of Allen Edmonds, size 11d so I bought an 11 in Sperry from your website. They were long enough but after a day realized they were too narrow. Had to pay $14 to send them back and ordered 11.5. They fill well but still a little too narrow. I took the thick heeled, chunky, leather lined insole out, put in a level padded insole and they fit much better. I think you offer a well made, good looking shoe with an ill conceived insole. Plus, even though you offer free shipping over $100, it's a drag to pay $14 to find out the shoes don't fit. Major retailers with free shipping/returns like Nordstrom, Zappos etc. are a safer way to order online.

Design and quality wise, amazing shoe; great craftsmanship. Shoe definately runs big/long, so I would suggest a half size smaller at the least. My first Sperry purchase, and so much impressed I would definately purchase from again when I find another oxford I like as boat shoes arent for me.

I have received many, many compliments on the style of this shoe. In the Nordstrom shoe store two female sales people asked where I got the shoes...very impressed with the style. Fit comfortably right out of the box.

Most comfortable shoe ever

I recently bought a couple of pair of Cole Hann shoes that look simalar to these as a friend told me how comfortable they are. He was right they are, however you need to buy 1/2 to 1 size smaller and they are no where near as comfortable as these. I ordered two more pair as it showed they were discontinued, but I now see that it was just the color as there are new colors.

These are my new semi-casual shoe and they are very well made. They also look very good with the suede. The soles in these shoes are phenomenal and contribute to an extremely comfortable shoe. If your looking into a shoe of this style, the comfort is worth every penny.

I've been wanting a nubuck shoe for some time so I broke down and bought this one, for work and dress-down casual. I wear Sperry boat shoes all the time but I had no idea how comfortable this shoe was going to be until I put it on. I look forward to putting work shoes on now!

This is an incredibly well-crafted shoe. It was very comfortable the moment I put them on but then I noticed that the length was a 1/2 size too long for my preference. I have returned them using Sperry's easy return process and I await my new pair that will be a 1/2 size smaller than what I normally order. I hope this does the trick. The width and everything else was perfect so it may be just the style of the toe, we'll see.
The color is more the tan hue that is shown in the other pictures and not the more gray-birch tone in the main picture. Very nice either way.

Like most Sperrys, this is a very comfortable shoe. The amount of padding in the footbed surprised me. It feels like I am wearing a tennis shoe. The one negative to the shoe is its weight. The quality of the materials contributes to a slightly heavy dress shoe.

They do run a little narrow but seem to be breaking in nicely. I have a pair of the same shoe in desert boot style and liked them so much decided to buy the shoe version. Great support, looks, and comfort. Bonus: very good traction in snow without clunky sole.

I was so disapointed when my shoes arrived from Sperry. I have several Gold Cup shoes that are amongst the most comfortable that I own. I was excited to order the tan oxfords, yet when they arrived, they were much too narrow.
I wear an orthodic which tends to raise my foot higher in the shoe, yet even without this device, the size 8M shoes just wouldn't work. I regretably sent them back, and Sperry was quick to refund my purchase.

I wear a 7 1/2. Fit is great with thin socks. If I wore thick socks, they would be tight. I wore them half a day Wed., and all day Friday. Unbelievably comfortable. They feel great over bare feet, but I can't get away with that at work. I wear thin socks. They are just stiff enough to know the leather is of good quality. The soles grip well and the memory foam insole is so nice. I wear Florsheim dress shoes and Red Wing casual shoes and these are more comfortable than both. I hope they are as durable as I think they will be, because they will get worn a lot. I rated style good because they were darker in color than I thought they would be. But they work great for business casual.

I am big fan of Gold Cup line and this is another great shoe. Well-designed, good looking, and very comfortable. Only concern is same that I would have with any suede bucks - will it stand up to fall and winter weather in NYC? Time will tell but quality looks to be first-rate.

I bought my first pair in light brown suede at a recently-opened Sperry store in L.A. and could not get over how comfortable they were right from the start. I went back to the store a few weeks later to see if they had them in black suede, and while they did not, I was directed to the website to check there. Black leather was available so I ordered them and, again, I have been very pleased by how comfortable they are. Even though one pair is suede and one is leather, they both feel exactly the same. Also, the leather is of very high quality and even after wearing them for awhile, there is no crease where my toes bend.

I'm a huge fan of Sperry's Gold Cup Collection. I own at least four pair and wear them constantly - to work, around the house, out on the town. I have two pair of the Gold Cup Oxfords I wear to work. The white pair go great with my seersuckers.
