The support in this style is awesome! Better than a pair of tennis shoes. I was looking for a pair of tennis shoes when I came across the Sperrys; I bought the tan/leopard print. I wish some of the other styles had the same support inside. I wore these shoes every day this past summer as I had 'ball of foot pain' which the insoles helped reduce the pain and I will soon purchase the black/leopard print. They go well with shorts, jeans, and ankle pants. My favorite pair of shoes of all time!

my sperrys are amazing and they have lasted me a whole year! The only problem that I have is the sparkles on the sperrys I purchased fold and it looks kind of weird but besides that my sperrys are amazing!

I just ordered these shoes, I also have a another pair of sperrys- the biscayne. they are both very comfortable. But the angelfish I just ordered stretch a lot. So you need to get a half size smaller than your real size. Besides that, I love both pairs!!!

this is a cute shoe, but the fit for me is awful.
Too long and next size down rubs in places. I have found if shoes don't feel good when you first put them on, then there will be problems down the road. I really liked the arch support in these.

I received my shoes and they were a little loose when I got them and after wearing them just one time, they stretched and got even looser. I like them a lot but they are sloppy looking now because they've stretched out too much and are too wide. The laces don't stay tied. I wouldn't mind sending them back for a 7.5 rather than the size 8 I always wear, but I've worn them so not sure if that is possible to do now.

This is my first pair of sperry's. I got the leopard print ones and I love them. They are very comfortable and wear them all the time. My only complaint is they are a little wide. I tried tightening the laces, which helped a little, but not quite enough.

Bought these in Rose open mesh. I wore them most of the day on the first wearing and was pleased with how comfortable they were with the extra cushioning. Would love to get in all colors!

Prior to my purchase I had not owned "boat shoes" in awhile. These Sperry's are well made and they mold to your foot and are the most comfortable shoes to wear. I have bought several pairs for my young nieces and the "cool" colors and patterns that they come in are a great hit. I don't mind spending a little extra money when I know that the product going to last. I would recommend them anyone.

I bought my shoes online because I can't find size 11 in stores. The only complaint I have about the shoe is the edge of the tongue on the outside rub on my toe both shoes. I have to wear a bandaid to stop the rubbing. The shoe is very comfortable otherwise. I hope after breaking them in the rubbing will stop. Will definately buy them again

Adorable but need breaking in period

I got this and a pair of penny loafers from the Sperry store. After trying on different shoes, the sales girl told me I should be wearing a size 6 in Sperry instead of 7, my usual size, as they would stretch to my feet. They were tight initially, but I thought I had broken them in while wearing them around the house a little with thick socks. When I wore them to work, however, quickly realized they were not quite so comfy yet, especially around the heels. Despite wearing bandaids and sticking in non-slip padding in the heel of the shoes (should have sprung for the silicone but got cheap rubbery kind instead), had horrible blister on one heel that still hasn't healed a week later...and I don't walk too much at work. The other foot felt great by the end of the day, though, like a slipper, so am sure once I get the blister healed and maybe put a silicone sticky pad inside of the other shoe will be great. I also ordered Sperry Socks in the meantime, which I should have bought at the store when she recommended them but didn't think I would need--will hopefully make big difference also. The shoes are so cute I really want them to fit and maybe get different styles and colors. Very cushioned bottom and will look really cute with shorts and capris.

Dear Marilyn921, I think the reason you have the blisters is because you didn't buy your proper size! Podiatrists recommend buying the size that fits, and not a size that you have to "break in." That said, I'm sure the sales girl had experience with this particular shoe and it will soon fit you. Good luck! Our whole family wore nothing but Sperry shoes while boating, and now I'm in the market for another pair. I advise you to buy your proper size next time, for the health and comfort of you and your feet! Take care.

I have to admit I do not live on the water but I do love my Sperry's nonetheless. They are extremely comfortable and stylish. I wear them frequently during warm weather and always take them with me on vacations! I do recommend Sperry's to my friends and will continue to do so.

Great shoe! Very stylish yet more comfortable than most! I have worn these all over Europe and walked a lot and for the most part they were very comfortable! They do rub a little bit from time to time in the heel area and sometimes up in the top corner where the material ends and you can see the foot. For the most part however, they have great support and are very comfortable! I had to go down half a size and it seemed rather snug at first, but they do stretch out. I would love to get more in other colors!

I bought a similar pair of gold boat shoes from Sperry a year or two ago and loved them so much that I bought a grey/charcoal pair this year! These are great for summer travel and work perfect for both the beach or a day exploring the town.
I bought a 1/2 down from my "normal" size and have a slightly wide foot.

Cute shoe that is so comfortable I can wear it all day. I generally cannot do that with arthritis and lupus in my feet/ankles. Arch support, toe of shoe does not touch the top arch of my foot, and the heel/toes are cushioned. Great shoe!
