I just went through Hurricane Sandy and recived these boots about a week before! These boots are comfy, warm, and totally waterproof! I was so glad to have them! They are also stylish - I ordered them in black! Totally recommend! :)

I live near Seattle on a goat farm. I love these boots for working in the barn during the wet weather. They can be pricey, but they really hold up to lots and lots of heavy use. I have found that other brands fall apart quickly. You get what you pay for! I love them and bought 2 identical pairs of boots to have a backup pair.

I wear a 9 1/2 or 10 normally, so I ordered these boots in a 10 to be safe because I like to wear thick socks when it's wet outside. These boots barely fit my feet, though and I wish I had gotten a 1/2-1 size bigger.

I bought this pair during the fall before my senior year at college in MA. My calves are very athletic and it's very hard to find rain boots that fit. I was super happy that I found cute boots that also accommodated my calves. I love the contrasting colour and the warmth of the lining. They lasted well during the 2 semesters (it strangely didn't rain that much). Now it's summer after graduation and NYC's having major thunderstorms. On my way back from work during a rainstorm, I realised that my left boot has gotten a rip and has therefore gotten soaked. For the price that I paid, to be only be able to enjoy the boots for less than a year, I am quite disappointed. I guess they didn't really "create for performance...build with quality" and I do not think their design is up to par either. I will not be buying them again, nor will I buy any Sperry shoes in the future.

My college age daughter also had this happen. She contacted Sperry and they replaced the boots. However the second pair soon wore out within a yr. We weighed the pro's and cons and decided even if we have to replace them every 18 months or so they are still more comfortable than any other rainboot available and we would take our chances in hoping they would keep improving their product. The ones she owns now are seemless near the footbed and 'so far so good'... These boots are on sale sometimes for ~ $40. Still the best bargain over the cheaper discount store choices.
* Advice to Sperry- please keep improving the product for durability. The comfort factor however is perfect and unmatched.

I was in the market for a pair of these rainboots. I ordered a size smaller than usual based on reviews saying that the boots ran big. This isn't the case so they are a bit tight when trying to take them off. Other than that, happy with purchase.

I got these for both my daughter and myself in pretty plaid colors and we love them! They look good and feel good, offering excellent support and style. These are like the English Wellingtons only prettier. We wear them while walking out in our pastures and everywhere when it's raining. If you're a half-size, buy up to the next whole size and they'll be just right. I highly recommend these boots!

This is my second pair of pelican rain boots. My dog decided to eat my first pair, and I ordered another within a week because they are so great. They are very comfortable and the microfleece inside allows you to wear without socks if desired. I can take the dog on 30min walks in these boots and my feet feel great. Plus they are super cute! I've gotten lots of compliments...
In terms of size, I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered an 8 as recommended - they fit fine. I've had both navy tattersal and green plaid - love both!

I bought these to replace another pair of boots from another brand, and the only thing I regret is not knowing about these before I bought the others that only lasted two years. They fit beautifully, I can walk in them all day, They are easy to put on and take off even with socks (I rarely wear socks though) And with the express shipping the boots arrived one (business) day before I expected them too. Though normally I hate ordering online, I want my purchases immeidately, I will be ordering again in the future from the website.

This rainboots were purchased for my daughter for her birthday. She had been wanting rainboots for a while and we had looked at tons of boots from very cheap to very expensive other name brands. This product is well made, fits well and I cannot even begin to relate how many compliments she gets when she wears them. I am happy with the purchase and since we have had good experience with her shoes I have not doubt the boots will be long lasting too.

I had received these as a Christmas gift.
They are very very comfortable
I live in the pac NW so we get a lot of rain and wet weather-
this past winter it was snowy and rainy and these boots really did a great job at keeping my feet dry and warm ( the polar fleece socks as a accessory helped tons with the warmth.)

These where replacing a cheap pair I had purchased some time ago at a local retailer.. these top-siders are so worth the money.
they fit pretty true to size. I have wide feet so they feel a bit snug but Im used to that.

I have the black quilted boot and it not only looks wonderful but the fit is great. They are lined and keep my feet very warm. I bought the red fleece liner for snow days but haven't had to use them yet in New England winter. They are way more comfortable than the Hunter brand boot. I also love that they are still loose around the calf for easy on and off.

I LOVE these rain boots. I got the quilted black pair and they are adorable. It hasn't been exactly the right weather to wear them, but I've worn them a few times regardless. They feel great--they even fit with the "wellie warmers" inside (it's a bit snug, but for the style I'll deal with it). These boots are also a good bang for the buck in comparison to other more expensive competitors.
I guess the only downsides to these boots are:
1) they run a little small, so I ordered a size up (im usually a 9, 91/2 but i ordered a 10).
2) they are fairly short--I'm 5'9" and they only come up to about 4 or 5 inches below my knee cap.
Overall a great purchase and I hope they last a while!

I received these boots as an early Christmas present. I wanted something functional for rain/snow/sleet yet something stylish. Well, I must say, I received all of the above! The boots are awesome. I purchased the green plaid hoping that it would match a majority of my winter clothing, and it will. The inside of the boot is lined and keeps my feet toasty warm. This is my first pair of Sperry's, but it will not be my last!
