This is the second pair in a row of the same shoe for me. I bought them for my extremely athletic and tougher than tough on shoes son. Because they are suade they lasted much longer than canvass. I sprayed them with leather protecter and they looked like new the whole time he wore them! He did something or other bizarre and somehow put a hole through them, that is why we had to get a new pair, but honestly, these are the best shoes we ever bought. Also, he likes to wear them with no socks and they never picked up an odor! - Amazing-he even wore them playing basketball alot and like I said, he is rough on shoes.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. An earlier model that I first purchased was a lighter shade of brown, which I prefer. But I will continue to buy replacements as long as you keep them in production.

I have been wearing the Largo Slip-on for two seasons. They are a great casual boat shoe which I ended up wearing almost every day because of their comfort. It is also a great travel shoe because they are light, easy to slip into and out of for TSA and allow for the expansion of feet due to the edema that naturall occurs in airplane flights. Their limits are that they do not give enough stability for racing and streach over time to a relatively loose, though comfrtable fit. The soles wear quickly because they are soft, but that is what makes them a great boat shoe. Unfortunately, they are being discontinued, but it's not clear why since they are very popular in my boating community north of Boston. Perhaps someone has bought the brand and is repositioning the product upwards and expanding the product line. I have five pairs of Sperry's in my closet. I buy them because they are a great funtional boat shoe, not because they are stylish. We don't need another great brand loosing its core market by catering to the wannabes.

I've had this shoe for about two years now. When I first wore them, the back cut into my heel till I was bleeding. Had to saddle soap it and then problem fixed. I use them for just going out, as well as longboarding (I also use another pair of boat shoes for that). Overall great shoe!

This is my second season wearing these shoes, and I count them as my favorite summer shoe. I wear them without socks and they are not hot because of the air holes throughout. I bought these shoes specifically because of the way they are ventilated.
However, the stitching on the top of the toe is coming apart, and it doesn't look like it will be long before they are not wearable.
I am looking for a retail store to purchase another pair, and hope that the defect in this pair was a fluke.

stitching coming apart

I bought these shoes for my high school son and he absolutely loves them. But, within 2 weeks of wearing them, the stitching on top began to come apart and now the side is split wide open. I am hoping Sperry has good customer service and will exchange them for a new pair. Too expensive of a shoe to last less than one month!

I just got my pair and I am amazed at how comfortable they are from the moment you try them on. The shoe isn't so padded that your foot feels insecure and wobbly and its not hard like a rock it is just right with your foot comfortably sinking at just the right level. The grip is phenomenal and the look is amazing. I tried them on with a pair of slacks and shorts and even high Nike socks (as is the trend) and the shoe looked great with all of them. I have returned many shoes in the past but I'm not looking forward to returning these ever. Just be aware that sizing is a bit off. I usually wear a 10.5 in normal running shoes and ended up with a 9.5 on these. Other than that great shoe overall.

I ordered these shoes for my husbands birthday but unfortunately they were too big so I re-ordered a size smaller. Sperry accidentally sent them to my previous address where no one resides anymore so when I called the customer service line after reading the UPS tracking website, the woman who helped me was very polite, apologized repeatedly and re-sent another pair of shoes to me. My husband is very happy with his shoes and I am very happy with Sperry's ability to promptly solve any problems. We are now dedicated Sperry customers.
