These shoes are really very smart looking and extremely comfortable right out of the box. They will stretch out some with wear. I started wearing them in college and I immediately loved them. I wear them barefoot (without socks) all the time and they could not be more comfortable. They are sharp looking and go pretty well with everything. I wear them for casual occassions, work and even church. Really an excellent and very durable shoe. When my current ones wear out I will certainly buy another pair.

I just recently got these and they are amazing. So durable, I wear them in the grass, in the mud, on sidewalks and everywhere in between. They are so comfortable and you just can't get any classier!

I've been ordering the same Sperry Top-Sider Boat shoe (A/O Ice #0195149# in size 9W every year for over 20 years. For the first time, I purchased it directly from Sperry's website. Product was received timely and in good shape but after a few days they began to hurt my feet. The shoe may be incorrectly marked as 9W or constructed differently as they appear to be too narrow. Oddly, this shoe was made in Indonesia while all shoes previously purchased were made in China#?)

and they are the best shoes on the market no questions asked. I only wear the authentic originals so trust me, I'm not new to these shoes. Every pair is this good but one pair in particular, I pushed to limits like no other. I took to Haiti after having worn almost everyday for 6 months. In Haiti, I painted, climbed mountains, missioned, and never wore socks. I was able to clean my Sperry's, and wear them to church that Sunday. You can wear them with or without socks. You can wear them to church, on a date, to the beach, to work in, or anything else. The best shoes on the market.

This is my first pair of Top-Siders, and I have to say that I am glad I finally sprung for a pair. They are just as comfortable with socks (for those with dress codes) as they are without socks (as they are intended to be worn.) I have also received a few complements on my new style.
My only complaint is a slight quality issue in that the tongue on the left shoe is about 1/4" shorter than the right, which isn't very noticeable when wearing but I could feel the difference for the first couple of days. It's a hassle to get things shipped to wear I live so I opted not to return them and try for a different pair.

I have had several pairs of these over the years and have always liked them I need a wide and the most recent pair I ordered a 10.5 wide They do not fit as well as my prior pairs I kept them and have been using a shoe strecher to make them a bit wider. I tired on an 11 in a store and they were too narrow I often have to buy a half size larger to get a shoe I like brecasue so few are manufactured in wide widths I am extremly disappointed and will no longer purchase this model

22 Years of working on the water with this shoe. They have not changed this true comfortable work horse (THANK YOU). For me it is like wearing a slipper but with awesome gripping of wet decks. If wearing on the water, a little leather sealer and they last and last.

I have purchased this product for over 20 years and find it a reliable product. I get this shoe wet and it holds it up well. I only broke one set of shoe strings in all the years of owning the prduct. My brother has started to use this shoe for over 5 years and he likes the shoe for its ability to get wet and hold up.

The shoes worked well except the right shoes' sole started peeling up after wearing them just one time. I now have to look for super glue to glue it back down. Kinda of annoying for paying 80 dollars for a pair of shoes to have them start falling apart after the first time you wear them.

My son wears a 13 wide which is not easy to find. He loved the style, the color and most of all said it was very comfortable. I never buy him shoes online because he wears such an unusually size and I dont like having to send them back. This was a great shoe! Thank You Sperry!!

First of all let me say I was very excited to try my first pair of Sperrys. I had tried them on before and I find them to be very comfortable and I love the way they look. However, after one week of limited use (mostly around the house to break them in) the insole starting to peel back. Your feet will naturally perspire if you wear them sockless and the insole ends before the toes. As a result, when you pull your feet out of the shoe it pulls up the insole that appears to be glued in. When I compared this design to another pair of boat shoes I own, I noticed that on my other pair the insole is stitched in at the front, preventing the insole from peeling back as I remove my feet from the shoe. It seems Sperry could easily fix this problem, but until they redesign this fatal flaw, I don’t feel I can recommend them based on their cost. For $80, I shouldn’t be having this problem. To say the least, I’m a little disappointed.
